Parker Woodland in the pandemic (Hint: We’ve been busy!)

“What creative ways are you using your art?”

If we can’t rock out in the ways we normally would during this pandemic, we have to try new things. Look beyond our horizons. Grow. This world on fire needs art, especially heartfelt art, more than ever.

So, even though Parker Woodland has been staying close to home, we’re still everywhere this year. Thank you so much to our friends for inviting us to their podcasts, online shows, peace benefit concerts, livestreams, portrait projects, and so much more. Parker Woodland loves you! - Erin

Erin has also been writing on occasion for the Austin-American Statesman and Interfaith Action of Central Texas, about how we make meaning, art, and connection during the pandemic.

Articles:

“Find things that make you come alive during coronavirus” (Oct. 7, 2020)

“The Dose of Hope” (August 2020)

“Create a connection with our neighbors one at a time” (May 11, 2020)

Last but not least, when it comes to creative ways to use your heart, nothing beats officiating the livestream wedding of fellow Austin musicians and friends, which Erin did for Jennifer Yoder (Fire Women, Dangerous Types) and Jason Garcia (Dangerous Types, Household Names) this spring. Congratulations, Jennifer and Jason! The world needs more love out loud.

Thank you again to all the Parker Woodland friends and family who are out there keeping creativity and music alive during hard times. We are in this together, and we will seen you soon!
