It was the most incredible experience, spending the day with wonderful fellow musicians, Good Wolf production crew, Sonic Guild and Long Center staff, volunteers, and donors.
After the ball, Parker Woodland lead singer/bassist Erin Walter wrote to the more than a dozen friends and fans who joined us on stage, describing the magical 2-song set:
Dearest, brave, stage-storming friends,
Thank you all so much again for being part of Parker Woodland's dancer crew at the Sonic Guild Ball. Andrew and I were reflecting today on how amazing it was to go from a lone spotlight / lone voice / lone guitar / one mysterious "Stranger" moment and build all the way up to our full colorful "world" of the band, friends and family taking up the whole Long Center stage. The exuberance and joy you brought to "World's on Fire" -- and the way you instinctively spaced yourselves across the giant stage -- just perfect!
You helped us tell an epic story and build a musical and visual universe in just 8 minutes. I will absolutely never get over it. <3 Deepest, most heartfelt gratitude.
Y'all are welcome on stage with us any time! Please know Parker Woodland loves you!
